01 Data We Collect

VALLENT EXS collects only what it needs to run its features. Specifically:

Identifiers

• Your Discord user ID, and the server (guild) IDs and channel IDs the bot operates in.
• Your Discord username and display name, and your avatar — the avatar image itself is fetched from Discord to render cards and is not stored after rendering.

Activity & progression data

• XP, level, and message-count totals used for the leveling system.
• Badges, hierarchy role, and Premium status.
• Customization you set yourself — custom card gradients, custom background image URLs, custom badge names/emoji.
• AFK status and the reason text you provide when setting it.
• Voting records (timestamps and streaks) if you vote for the bot on top.gg.

Moderation & server configuration data

• Server-level settings staff configure (moderation rules, ticket setup, giveaway data, verification settings, embed/component drafts, and similar).
• Moderation actions taken through the bot (warns, mutes, bans) and the reason provided, where that feature is used.

VALLENT EXS does not read, log, or store the general content of your messages. Message content is only processed transiently where a feature requires it (for example, checking a message against an auto-moderation filter) and is not retained afterward unless a staff member explicitly uses a feature that saves it (like a ticket transcript).

02 How We Use It

Data is used strictly to operate the bot's features: leveling and rank cards, moderation and anti-nuke protection, tickets, giveaways, verification, badges, and Premium perks. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

03 Third-Party Services

VALLENT EXS relies on a small number of external services to function:

• Discord — the platform the bot runs on. Discord's own Privacy Policy applies to your use of Discord itself.
• top.gg — used only to receive vote confirmations if you vote for the bot there.
• Hosting provider — the infrastructure that runs the bot and stores its configuration data.

We don't share your data with any other third party beyond what's needed to operate these integrations.

04 Retention & Deletion

Your data is kept for as long as it's useful to the features above — generally until you or a server admin removes it, or the server removes the bot. If you'd like your data deleted, contact us (see Contact) and we'll remove what we can that isn't needed for a server's own moderation records.

05 Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your data, or to object to how it's processed. Reach out through the support server and we'll do our best to help, within what Discord's platform and the bot's design allow.

06 Children's Privacy

VALLENT EXS is intended for use in line with Discord's own Terms of Service, which require users to be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your region). We don't knowingly collect data from anyone below that age.

07 Security

We take reasonable steps to protect stored data, but no system is perfectly secure. We can't guarantee absolute security and encourage you to use Discord's own account security features (like two-factor authentication).

08 Acceptance of Terms

Using VALLENT EXS — inviting it to a server, running its commands, or purchasing Premium — means you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy above. If you don't agree, please don't use the bot.

09 Using the Bot

VALLENT EXS is provided as-is, free to add and use, with optional paid Premium features. We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee the bot will be available at all times — features may change, be added, or be removed as the bot is developed further.

10 Premium Purchases

Premium, No-Prefix, and Custom Badges are sold as one-time payments for a fixed duration (or permanently, for Lifetime tiers) — not recurring subscriptions. Purchases are currently arranged manually through the support server.

Refunds: because these are digital perks activated immediately upon purchase, purchases are generally non-refundable once granted. Exceptions may be made at the owner's discretion — for example, if a purchase was made in error or a paid feature doesn't work as intended. Reach out via the support server to request one.

Losing access to the server VALLENT EXS is in, or being removed from that server, does not entitle you to a refund — your Premium/No-Prefix/Badge status is tied to your Discord account, not to any one server.

11 Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use VALLENT EXS to violate Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.
• Attempt to exploit, reverse-engineer, or abuse bugs in the bot for unintended advantage (including stacking or duplicating Premium perks).
• Use the bot to harass, abuse, or harm other users.
• Resell or redistribute Premium access you've purchased to another Discord account.

12 Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or revoke your access to VALLENT EXS's features — including paid Premium perks — if you violate these Terms, without a refund, at our discretion. A server owner can remove the bot from their server at any time.

13 Disclaimer & Liability

VALLENT EXS is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We're not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the bot, including moderation actions taken by the bot or by your server's staff using it.

14 Changes to These Terms

We may update this Privacy Policy and these Terms as the bot changes. Continued use of VALLENT EXS after an update means you accept the revised terms. Significant changes will be announced in the support server.
